John Ligato is the author of several books, one being
“The Gunny” which is about his Company GySgt at Hue City in 1968.
He also wrote a fictional book of an FBI Operation, “The Near Enemy”.
John and 3 other Marine Veterans received Bronze Stars more
than 50 years after the Battle of Hue City.
